What can I expect to see?

Set in a beautiful Edwardian Grade II listed building, the theatre has hosted a variety of musicals, irreverant comedies and dramas. More recently, the theatre has been home to high-calibre productions such as West Side Story, Hairspray and Motown.  To this day, the mixture of intense dramas and fun, frantic musicals continues to appeal across all ages and generations.

How do I get there from the Crescent Hotel?

It’s just a 20 minute walk from the hotel to the Shaftesbury Theatre. 

As you head out the hotel, turn right and right again onto Marchmont Street. Take another right onto Bernard Street and walk straight to Russell Square. Cut across Russell Square and then turn left onto Montague Street.  Continue for a few minutes until you come to Great Russell Street. Turn right. Next, turn left onto Musuem Street and keep straight for sever minutes, passing across the A40/High Holborn. Take the next right and the theatre will be approximately 100ft on your right.
