L'Eurostar

L'Eurostar est un service de train à grande vitesse qui relie les voyageurs de la gare internationale de St Pancras à des destinations en France, en Belgique et aux Pays-Bas.

During busy periods, trains depart St Pancras International every 30 minutes, with a slightly reduced frequency during weekends and bank holidays.

Eurostar Trip Duration

France, Belgium and the Netherlands are the main destinations for the Eurostar. The French cities of Lille, Paris and Avignon are served directly from St Pancras International by this high-speed train service.

In Belgium, the Eurostar stops at Brussels Midi Station (Brussels Zuid) and at Antwerp Station. The Eurostar service also has a single stop in the Netherlands at Rotterdam Centraal.

Eurostar trains to Lille take 1 hour 20 minutes, Brussels 1 hour 55 minutes, Paris 2 hours 20 minutes, while Amsterdam can be reached in 3 hours 55 minutes.

How Many Passengers Travel On The Eurostar?

With more people actively trying to reduce their personal carbon emissions, the Eurostar is increasing in popularity.

The capacity of the e320 Eurostar trains is double what the average jumbo jet can carry, while also producing 90% fewer carbon emissions.

While covid restrictions reduced passenger numbers in recent years, as many as 11 million passengers have embarked on more than 20 million journeys via the Eurostar in a single calendar year.
