Unfortunately, stairs figure prominently in a Georgian building and we are not permitted a lift.
There is a short flight of steps from the pavement to our front door.
Ground floor rooms are available. If you have special requirements please discuss them with our staff before booking. We always do our best to meet our guests’ needs.
Though we do not offer room service, breakfast trays can be provided to those who have difficulty descending the stairs to the breakfast room.
Assistance dogs are welcome.
Breakfast is served every morning to classical music in our tastefully decorated Breakfast Room on the lower ground floor. The room is well ventilated.
To avoid crowding in the breakfast room we operate the following time slots, which you may book with reception: 07:30-08:00, 08:00-08:30 and 08:30-09:00, 09:00-09:30.
If you have special dietary requirements we will try our best to respond to your needs – we have met some quite stiff challenges.
Please discuss your dietary requirements with our staff at the time of booking.
We guarantee the room to be ready by 14:30. We are more than happy to look after your luggage in reception if you arrive before your room is ready.
Reception opens at 07:30. We do not have a night porter service, so please do not plan to arrive earlier than 07:30 nor later than 22:00. Staff need their sleep!
Check-out is at 11:00.
We can take care of your luggage after check-out if you’re not travelling until later that day. Reception closes at 22:00 so you will need to collect luggage before then.
Most train stations charge to look after your bags, so if you have time, we suggest you leave your luggage with us.
We are happy to act as an address for the delivery of guests Covid test kits.
The hotel is fortunate to be located amid numerous eateries to suit all pockets. We have created a guide for the best cafeterias, pubs/bars and restaurants in the area.
We are more than happy to look after your luggage in reception if you arrive before your room is ready.
Equally, if on the day of departure you wish to store your luggage for the day (no later than 22:00), we can accommodate this.
The hotel does not have parking. However, if you are driving to us, you should know that you may park overnight on our street on weekdays from 6:30pm to 8:30am. On Saturday the period is 1:30pm to 8:30am on Monday morning – so no restrictions on Sunday.
There are a number of NCP car parks within close proximity of the hotel. We recommend visiting NCP London for further information.
Reception is open from 07.30 to 22.00. One of our receptionists is always around during these hours to help you with your needs or just for a friendly chat. They are also here to answer the phone and reply to your emails.
There is free WiFi throughout the hotel.
There is a computer in the hotel lounge with free internet access for checking e-mails and searching the web. There is also a printer which is very handy for printing boarding passes and tickets.
Each room has a desk to work from and, if required, we may be able to provide an additional table.
